Usage: Doxyvige oral solution for dogs and cats is used to treat diseases caused by the following causative agents sensitive to doxycycline: Mycoplasma Haemophilus, Mycoplasma haemophilus, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Chlamydia, Haemophilus influenzae, Bardidiasis, Mycoplasma species, Klebsiella species, Corynebacterium, Pasteurella multocida, Escherichia coli , Leptospira species, Borella purpurea purpurea, Ehrlichia tetanus species, Brucella canis, Toxoplasma gondii.
In dogs and cats for the treatment of diseases such as: bartonellosis, pneumonia, bronchitis, pharyngitis, bronchitis, tonsillitis, otitis, bronchitis, sinusitis and urogenital infections: uterine infection, cystitis, leukemia, borreliosis (Lyme disease), ehrlichiosis, toxoplasma infection, and Brucellosis, tetanus (tetanus), brucellosis, gastrointestinal infections and diarrhea, otitis media, deep and superficial pyoderma, abscesses, boils, cellulitis, and it is also used to prevent postoperative infections or treat infected wounds, arthritis, periostitis, Gingivitis, joint stiffness.

How to take the medicine: This medicine is to be used orally only, with or immediately after food.
Dosage: Dogs and Cats: The drug is administered orally at a therapeutic dose of 5 – 10 mg/kg every 12 hours for 7 – 14 days. Practically, a dose of 1 – 2 ml of Doxyvig oral solution per 10 kg of actual or weight is used. estimated by the veterinarian.
For the treatment of canine bartonellosis, feline bartonellosis, brucellosis, leptospirosis, toxoplasmosis and ehrlichiosis, an oral dose of 10 mg/kg every 12-24 hours for 14-30 days is used. Practically a dose of 1 ml of Doxyvig solution is used. Orally per 5 kg of actual weight or at the discretion of the veterinarian.
Contraindications:
In animals with hypersensitivity to antibiotics from the tetracycline group.
It should not be used by pregnant females, because tetracycline may delay fetal skeletal development and may cause bone deformities and unwanted discoloration (yellow) in the deciduous teeth of fetuses and newborns. It should only be used in the latter half of pregnancy when the benefits outweigh the risks to the fetus.
The drug is not used for newborns (puppies and kittens).
Do not use at the same time as oral antacids, bismuth subsalicylate, kaolin pectin, oral iron, penicillin, phenytoin and phenobarbital due to drug interactions.
Alerts and warnings:

Excess doses lead to gastrointestinal disturbances (vomiting, diarrhea, gastritis, or anorexia).

Doxifig oral solution can cause nausea and vomiting. To reduce these side effects, the medicine should be given with or immediately after food.
Store in a cool place, away from light, at a temperature below 30°C.
